My new baby !! 7 weeks and 5 days old. Shadow moved in yesterday and made himself right at home ! He's such a cutie....even the grumpy one loves him !!

I've been working non stop for weeks...so I'm taking a little break to chill for a few days...in 5 star heaven...right next to Cheshire Oaks...shopping heaven...I'm a little excited !! I love shopping me...

My day in the rain...

I am the only person in the world it seems who doesn't care about the Olympic Torch. Despite this I rashly promised to help school look after 450 kids while they walked through the lashing rain to get a view of the torch going past. AN HOUR later ( thats an hours worth of lashing rain later )the torch came into view on the horizon. There was a quick cheer and waving of flags, a brief glimmer of something shiny....and then it was over !!...and we all squelched back to class ! Great...

A Little Walk

Last year my friend Denise was battling breast cancer. The chemo made her pretty poorly and one night she watched the local Moonlight Walk and said if she got better she would do the walk herself. Well....last night...with a new and all better Denise...me and Janine and Pru the dog did it with her...NINE MILES...count them....in the dark...3hrs 20mins of agony !! Great night girls...lots of laughs...and chocolate....and raised lots of money for St John's Hospice ! NOW I NEED MY BED !!

Seamus saves the day !

Well...here he is...Seamus the Irish Donkey ! He was an absolute star.....a real professional. He was a last minute find and it was down to the wire....but he stood in....even though Tilly ( Mrs Seamus ) was on the verge of giving birth !!....and....he managed to get through his big moment without ANY donkey mess !! ( which was a relief as I seemed to be in charge of clearing the donkey mess ! ). I have to say a really BIG thanks to John and Lisa xx for bringing him.

So...if anyone would like to meet Seamus he lives at Docker Park Farm near Kirkby Lonsdale....which is a fab place....with fab animals....and fab food....where fab kids will have a fab time ! Go visit !

Big trouble !!

I'm in BIG trouble !! ......ages and ages and ages ago my husband asked me if I would help the vicar down the road find a donkey for the Easter service. ( dont ask !! ) ' Oh just leave it with me' I said....'easy peasy!'.....then promtly forgot !! ....and now its very very nearly Easter....and theres not a donkey to be found....in the whole of Morecambe.....not even on the beach....where you once couldn't move for hoards of donkeys !!....so.....please please please.....if you live in / around / near the Morecambe area.....and you have a spare donkey....and its free on Palm Sunday....and it fancies a day out......give me a shout !!
